Adelaide based make-up artist, Georgie Dee is as passionate and dedicated to her profession as she is to her diverse clientele. Professionally trained and with fourteen years experience she brings talent and quality to the make-up industry. Quietly determined Georgie consistently strives to hone her skills to produce flawless results with every application.
 

Throughout her career she has lived in Sydney, Paris and London as well as travelled extensively throughout Europe, grasping a once in a life time opportunity to further her knowledge and skills in make-up and hair styling. Artistic pursuits including body painting as a finalist in Seeboden Austria in the World Body Painting Championships 2005, added a new dimension to her repertoire and determination to try new things.

Returning to Adelaide Georgie became a MAC artist and subsequent assistant manager for MAC David Jones Adelaide. Her years with MAC significantly enhanced her make-up artistry techniques and developed
an extensive product knowledge as well as team building, retail and business skills.

A common thread that has developed throughout her career has been her success in the photographic industry. She has worked with many photographers and creative teams including models, stylists, art directors and hair professionals in both portraiture, commercial industry and fashion.

It is through these working relationships she became a make-up tutor for Tanya Powell Model Agency in 2008-09 teaching make-up skills to aspiring models as well as several young women from disadvantaged backgrounds. This role helped create a fun relaxed environment for developing confidence and self esteem as well as practical skills.

Georgie Dee currently works solely in a freelance capacity. Her clients include a vibrant, youth orientated, local South Australian fashion label, award winning hair salons and commercial work for various organisations. She is also in regular demand for wedding & special occasion make-up from a diverse range of ages, races and backgrounds.

Generally publicity shy Georgie gains regular work through 'word of mouth' recommendations and endorsements.

Her vision is to provide an outstanding quality service that leaves
a lasting impression.
